Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Crook County, Oregon. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
