Safety officer — Ijebu North East

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Ijebu North East, Ogun State. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
