Plant operator — Ikwuano

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Ikwuano, Abia State. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On a typical shift you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; check for underground cables and services before digging; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
