Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Los Angeles County, California. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift 6+ years on the tools preferred.
