Immediate opening: cnc production machinist (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
