Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre technician in Luton, England. Day to day you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
