Press machine operator wanted in City of Galax

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in City of Galax, Virginia. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
