Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Edgar County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
