Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Gove County, Kansas. You will work at a container port. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
