Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Tensas Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a high-rise construction project. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
