Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. You should have: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
