GTAW welder wanted in Powell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Powell County, Kentucky. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
