Safety officer — South Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry.
