Great opportunity: site carpenter (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in San Mateo County, California. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
