Stainless steel welder wanted in Northumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Northumberland County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
