We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Milton Keynes, England. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
