Vacancy available: gas meter installer (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Knox County, Kentucky. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Full-time with occasional weekends.
