Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car mechanic in Boone County, Iowa. You will work in a roadside repair garage. Your main tasks: • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems What we are looking for: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
