Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Mellette County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
