Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Hardin County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing On the job you will handle: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Rotating shifts.
