Great opportunity: scullery hand (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scullery hand in Mercer County, Illinois. Day to day you will wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service. What we are looking for: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
