Heavy goods vehicle driver — Cecil County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Cecil County, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock 4+ years on the tools preferred.
