Shakeout operator — Koko/Besse Local Government Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Koko/Besse Local Government Area, Kebbi State. The job is on the moulding line. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
