Urgent requirement: sheet metal welder (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in McDonough County, Illinois. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
