Great opportunity: we are hiring a body shop technician in Covington County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder You should have: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
