Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Powell County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
