Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Shelby County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
