Vacancy available: overlocker operator (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Burke County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
