Banksman — Beaufort County

Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
