The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts. ₦70,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
