Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Haralson County, Georgia. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
