Gas metal arc welder — San Juan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in San Juan County, Utah. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
