VMC operator wanted in City of York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in City of York, England. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe We offer £12 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
