You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams confidently • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience Day-to-day duties: • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
