Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Beltrami County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Day to day you will install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
