Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
