Tailor machinist wanted in Crenshaw County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Crenshaw County, Alabama. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
