Lift mechanic — Woodbury County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Woodbury County, Iowa. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
