Steel erection rigger • Hennepin County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Hennepin County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
