Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Charanchi, Katsina State. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day We offer ₦220,000 per month plus benefits.
