We are recruiting: earthmoving equipment operator (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Erie County, New York. You will work at a busy earthworks site. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Rotating shifts.
