Tyre fitter — Rankin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Rankin County, Mississippi. The job is in a fast-fit workshop. On the job you will handle: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills You should have: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
