Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a fabrication and glazing factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles On the job you will handle: • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
