Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Day to day you will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater.
