Now hiring: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based at a tyre and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will replace brake pads, discs and callipers; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Confident using diagnostic scan tools Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
