We are recruiting: lathe programmer-operator (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Richland Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred. $9,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
