Marble fitter — Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Shelby County, Kentucky. You will work on a hotel and villa renovation project. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish The role involves: • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
