Estate gardener wanted in Stanly County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Stanly County, North Carolina. You will work in a botanical garden. The role involves spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
