We are recruiting: tig welder (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Prince George County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
