Immediate opening: we are hiring a chef de partie in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. You will work at a fast-food outlet. Day to day you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare the mise en place before each service. What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Six days a week, one day off.
